Religious Education & Formation Program Information

Registration for Religious Education/Formation

St. Therese Parish provides Religious Education and Formation to children in public school, kindergarten through grade 8 during the school year from September to May on Monday evenings from 6:45 to 800pm. The new catechetical year begins on Monday, September 18 th with a Mass and orientation for families at 6:45pm . Forms have been mailed to all families who were registered in the 2005-2006 program. If you did not receive a form in the mail and you wish to register for the coming year, registration forms will be available after mass in the Social Room beginning September 2/3. Please call Pat Droste, Director of Religious Education/Formation if you have questions.

If you would like to volunteer to be a catechist or helper we can use your help. Please consider this important ministry.

First Eucharist and First Reconciliation Parent/Child Preparation Sessions

As a parish family, we welcome those children who will begin their preparation to celebrate the sacraments of First Communion and First Reconciliation for the first time.

First Communion:

Parents and children in the 2 nd grade and older who are registered parishioners at St. Therese and whose child is currently attending Religious Education or St. Therese school are invited to gather on Tuesday, September 12th at 7pm in the Social Room for the first session of preparation for First Communion.

First Reconciliation

Parents and children in the 2 nd grade and older who are registered parishioners at St. Therese and whose child is currently attending Religious Education or St. Therese school are invited to gather on Tuesday, September 26 th at 7pm in the Social Room for the first session of preparation for First Reconciliation (Penance).
