Origins: I was raised, and still live in Lansing, attended Holy Cross School through 8th grade and graduated from Eastern High School.
Profession: For 20 years, I worked as an office manager of a local real estate company. Immediately prior to accepting the position of secretary here at St. Therese, I cleaned houses and loaded UPS planes part time.
Message: I am most humbled by the amount of volunteer service that I have witnessed in the short time I have been here at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish. It has challenged me to look within. Thank you, for being a beautiful witness to me.
I am most grateful for all the blessings I have received and serving each of you in my role as secretary, is truly a gift!

Origins: Although I was born on an Army Base in California, my Catholic education started in Toledo, OH at St. Agnes School. I have lived in six different states, but happily consider Michigan my home. I graduated from CMU with a B.S. in Business.
Profession: I have had varied management roles in several different states with businesses that specialized in investment services and insurance.
Message: It has been a blessing to join St. Therese Church and this warm and welcoming family of parishioners. I look forward to being part of the volunteer spirit that is truly alive in this parish.

Origins: I grew up in Reese, Michigan, attended CMU where I earned my teaching certificate as well as a B.S. in Social Studies, and entered the Catholic Church at Easter Vigil in 1999, one month before my wedding day. I later got my master's degree in education and taught for 20 years in the classroom, both public and private, before shifting my career fully toward ministry as DRE at St. Therese.

Mrs. Jan Krzesicki
Biographical:

Origins: I attended a Methodist Church with 2 amazing musicians at the helm of the music department. I started choir at the age of 5 participant in church choirs throughout my life. Band Orchestra and choir were a part of high school course work. I joined a traveling folk group that sang in hospitals and rest homes throughout the country. I got my degree in Elementary Music at Western Michigan. I began singing at the Jewish Synagogue during my Junior College years. I began helping with music in a Catholic Church in Jackson. I became Catholic after experiencing the humbleness and outreach of the people there. I have taught music and drama for 35 years. I have sung in several different choral groups including Norman Luboff Choir and the Jackson Chorale. I began in Music Ministry in 1980’s and have worked in several parishes in the area. Steve and I have found that same spirit at St. Therese and were very blest to be asked to serve there.

I grew up in the shadow of Holy Cross where I attended grade school. Attended O'Rafferty High School for three years and graduated in the first class at Lansing Catholic High School.I got my B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Missouri (at Kansas City). I got my M.A. in Science Education from Michigan State University. GO GREEN!

Educator, retired. I taught for 27 years (several at St. Therese School) mostly at the Middle School level with the last 7 years a an Associate Professor at Lansing Community College.
Message:
I am involved in several parish organizations and activities including the Pastoral Council which is an advisory group to Father John. If you need help, if you have suggestions, if you have a beef or concern, I am able and willing to take it to Father John for his consideration.

Mr. Antonio "Tony" DeLuca

Origins: Calabria Region, South Italy
My family immigrated to the United States, Lansing, in 1969. I hold dual citizenship, American & Italian. I started attending St. Therese School, in December of 1969, for second grade and that is where I began to learn the English language. I also received the Sacrament of Holy Communion during this time. Fast forward, our family, wife & 2 children, joined St. Therese Parish in 2005.
I attended Lansing Community College and received a B.A. in Community & Public Administration from Central Michigan University.
Profession: Michigan House of Representatives (various legislative positions); Membership Services, at Associated Food & Petroleum Dealers Association of Michigan; Membership Director, Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce; Mayoral Appointment to the Board of Commission, Lansing Board of Water and Light; and currently employed at Lansing Board of Water and Light.
Volunteer Organizations President, Italian American Club of Lansing (20 years); elected - Commissioner at COMITES of Detroit (aid/representation to Italian citizens in five mid-western states); Commissioner - Lansing Regional Sister City Commission (promoting Italy)
Message: St. Therese Parish/School has been and continues to very important to me and holds a special place in my heart. The St. Therese community made me feel welcomed in 1969 and it continues to this current day! I am forever grateful, and stand committed to assisting St. Therese Parish in continuing its prosperous future.
